At the beginning of the year 2000 Cis Bio International was purchased and the decision of the new owners was to stop manufacture and distribution of the KRYPTOR^® product line.

The current Cezanne management started Cezanne as a management buy out, with the goal to proceed with the development and the production of the instrument and associated reagents.

Initially Cezanne sets up in Bagnols-sur-Cèze in 2000 and established a distribution and financial partnership with the company B.R.A.H.M.S AG, located near Berlin in Germany.

Cezanne gained ISO 9001:2000 certification in June 2002.

On September 9^th, 2002 floods devastated the south of France, and the Cezanne premises with all the manufacturing equipment was completely destroyed.

As early as December 2002, the city of Nîmes, in partnership with Cezanne, launched the construction of a new building of 2800 m², on the Georges Besse scientific parc. Cezanne entered the new building on July 28^th, 2003.

On September 11^th, 2003, the building was officially opened during a ceremony gathering the local authorities of the city, regional and county concils as well as the Nobel Prize winner Jean-Marie Lehn, B.R.A.H.M.S partners and numerous customers.
